What FSC regulation means for you

The Financial Services Commission (FSC) is the regulator for Mauritius’ non-bank financial services sector and global business sector. GMBB Investment Ltd holds an Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer, excluding underwriting) Licence issued by the FSC under Licence No. GB22201139.

This means GMBB Investment Ltd is authorised to provide the investment services permitted under that licence and is subject to the FSC’s ongoing supervision, reporting, compliance, and audit requirements.

In practice, FSC regulation requires GMBB Investment Ltd to:

  • Maintain its licence and comply with applicable FSC rules and licence conditions on an ongoing basis.
  • Apply anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) procedures to verify clients’ identities before accounts are funded and trading can commence.
  • Keep client funds separate from the company’s own operating funds in segregated client accounts, in accordance with applicable FSC requirements and the company’s internal controls.
  • Provide clear and transparent information, including its legal documents, terms and conditions, and risk disclosures, so clients can make informed decisions.

FSC regulation provides a framework of supervision and compliance obligations; it does not guarantee the performance of any investment or eliminate the risk of loss when trading leveraged products such as CFDs.

How to verify WRPRO’s licence yourself

You do not need to rely solely on information published on our website. You can independently verify WRPRO’s regulatory status directly through the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Mauritius.

To verify the licence:

  1. Visit the FSC Mauritius Register of Licensees: FSC Mauritius Register of Licensees
  2. Open the Online Public Register (OPR).
  3. Search for the licensed entity GMBB Investment Ltd.
  4. Review the information published by the FSC, including:
    1. Licence holder name
    2. Licence type

    5. Registered office address

The information displayed in the FSC’s official register should correspond with the regulatory information published by WRPRO, including that GMBB Investment Ltd is authorised by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius under Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer, Excluding Underwriting) Licence No. GB22201139.

We encourage clients and prospective clients to verify our regulatory status directly with the FSC whenever they wish to confirm the authenticity of our authorisation.

What regulation does and doesn’t cover

Being regulated by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Mauritius means that WRPRO, through its licensed entity, is subject to the FSC’s regulatory framework and ongoing supervision. This includes maintaining its licence, complying with applicable anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements, and meeting other regulatory obligations.

However, FSC regulation does not guarantee the performance of investments or eliminate the risks associated with trading. Contracts for Difference (CFDs) and other leveraged products are speculative and involve a high level of risk. Market movements can result in substantial losses, including the potential loss of your entire invested capital.

In accordance with its regulatory and legal obligations, WRPRO does not provide its services in jurisdictions where such services are restricted or prohibited by law. This includes, among others, the United States, European Union member states, Canada, and other restricted jurisdictions. Please refer to our Legal Documents for the complete list of restricted jurisdictions.

Risk warning: CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 81% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.

Risk warning: Forex/CFDs trading involves significant risk to your invested capital. Please read and make sure that you fully understand our Risk Disclosure Policy.
